Frequently asked
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. Numbers are stamped onto the PDF in this tab using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I start numbering somewhere other than 1?
Yes. Set any starting number, useful for a document that continues from an earlier one.
Can I skip the cover page?
Yes. Turn on "Skip the first page" and numbering begins on page two instead.
I need more than page numbers. A custom prefix, date stamps, etc.
The full PDF Editor tool includes Bates numbering (custom prefix, zero-padded digits, "Page X of Y") alongside every other annotation type.
Does this work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded.
