Add a header or footer to a PDF
Stamp custom text (a title, a date, a company name) into a header or footer band on every page.
Turn on a header, a footer, or both. Each has independent left, center, and right zones.
Plain text, or tokens like {page}, {pages}, and {date} that fill in automatically per page.
Text is drawn directly onto every page of the output file.
Frequently asked
Are my files uploaded to your servers?
No. Everything is drawn onto the PDF in this tab using pdf-lib. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What tokens are supported?
{page} for the current page number, {pages} for the total page count, and {date} for today's date. Usable in any of the six zones.
How is this different from PDF Page Numbers or PDF Watermark?
Page Numbers is a single number in one corner; Watermark is a large diagonal stamp. This tool is for a proper header/footer band. Three independent zones (left/center/right) per band, meant for things like a document title, a date, or "Page X of Y" together.
Does this work offline?
Yes, once the page has loaded.
