Why isn't 20% + 10% the same as 30% off?
Successive discounts apply one after another, not added together. 20% then 10% off ₹1,000 gives ₹1,000 → ₹800 → ₹720. A 28% effective discount, not 30%, because the second discount applies to the already-reduced price.
In what order should I add stacked discounts?
The order doesn't change the final price. Multiplying by (1 − 20%) then (1 − 10%) gives the same result as the reverse order.
Can I remove a discount after adding it?
Yes, each stacked discount can be edited or removed individually.
Does it work for a discount plus a flat amount off?
It's built for percentage discounts. For a flat-amount deduction, convert it to an equivalent percentage of the current price first.
Can I use this for tax calculations too?
